Therapy is one of the few spaces where you can speak your mind without reservation, judgment, or worry. Through talking openly in session you will start to become aware of thoughts and feelings you didn’t know you had, of desires hovering below consciousness. 

 

My ultimate goal is to deeply know you and assist you in understanding your inner life and story, while creating an atmosphere of acceptance and safety to explore your world together. The process itself generates insight and emotional awareness. From there we work to transform what you’re learning about yourself into new directions and self-assertion.

Issues that most commonly come up in my practice relate to career, sex, relationships, food and body image, anxiety, depression, parenting and trauma. I have a special appreciation for adults struggling with burnout, overworking and overextending themselves (as employees, parents, friends), as well as for women/gender non-conforming professionals navigating an external world success and empowerment, while feeling disempowered in their sex lives and home lives.
