LESS STRESS
MORE CONNECTION
BETTER SEX

Psychotherapy and sex therapy for individuals & couples navigating challenges in sex, love & career.

Madison-based but conveniently online across Wisconsin.

Maybe you feel like you can never relax. Or you’ve noticed the way your own anxiety, grief or past experiences are showing up in your relationships. Maybe you feel upset and confused whenever you’re forced to pause or slow down, so you just stay busy and you're starting to feel worn. Maybe you have a sexual concern that’s been keeping you from enjoying the sex life you want. Or you find yourself wondering how other people are holding it together.

You know life could feel differently. You’re just not sure how. All you know is that you’re ready to make a change.

I work with individuals and couples who want something more in their lives, and they’re ready to do the work to get there. My clients tend to be people who have tried self-help books, journaling, or working out their problems alone. Their previous attempts at therapy have felt stagnant or shallow, or they've felt they needed to hold back parts of themselves. But not with me.

I create a non-judgmental therapy space where you feel deeply cared for, and where you feel safe enough to confront your feelings, your past experiences, your behavior patterns, and take the necessary steps for growth and change.

I'm Bobby

And I'm so glad you're here.

Therapy with me is a unique and specialized experience for driven, high-functioning people who want more than just an okay life; people who want to step out of autopilot mode, heighten their self-awareness, and live more full and balanced lives.

Our work will both improve your day-to-day functioning and bring about changes that last a lifetime.

Sound Familiar?

I have a low sex drive, and it's causing issues in my relationship.

It hurts when I have sex.

I love my partner but sex is so boring. I find myself faking orgasms all the time.

I can't keep an erection during sex

I feel anxious and self-conscious about my body during sex.

I have sexual trauma I've never addressed, and I think it's getting in my way.

Are my fantasies normal?

I keep having sex with people who are bad for me.
Change

If you're ready to:

Understand yourself on a newer and deeper level,

Detangle and clarify what you are feeling,

Change the way you respond to difficult circumstances,

Resolve longstanding issues that sabotage your life & relationships,

Prioritize yourself and your needs

...then let's get to work!

I ask potent questions you may not think to ask yourself, and listen closely to both what you are saying and not saying. I am tough when you need it and gentle when the work is hard enough. Our work will be rich, dynamic and creative- you will be lit up with new ways of understanding yourself.

Within the unique security of our relationship, you’ll be able to explore new ways of experiencing yourself and others, and you’ll be able to make clearer, more empowered decisions.

Clients often tell me that the self-knowledge gained through our work feels enlivening and refreshing, and that their increased understanding of themselves is matched by an ability to take action in their lives.

No topic is off-limits

Many people tell their therapists about their pain and trauma, but still feel too awkward and ashamed to talk to them about sex and sexuality. This means that a big part of their identity and their life is being left out of the therapy room.

My office is a place to talk openly about sex and sexuality, without fear of judgment. You don't have to worry about being awkward or crass or too detailed when talking about sex and sexuality.

As an AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist, I’m ready to ‘go there’ and discuss the unspeakable. I bring this openness to my work with all clients even if sex is not the main focus of our work.

I provide focused therapy for clients dealing with issues such as the infamous ‘sexless marriage,’ erectile functioning, painful sex, exploring/engaging in BDSM/kink, open & polyamorous relationships, gender exploration/transition, difficulty achieving orgasm, feeling distracted during sex, just to name a few.

If you want to better understand and appreciate yourself as a sexual being, challenge unhelpful thoughts, improve communication with your partner(s), be more present during sex, and explore new ways of experiencing pleasure, then you're in the right place.
